US Independence Day has been an federal holiday since 1941 where all the US members of the country celebrate is auspiciously. It is the anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776.

During the initial battles in the Revolutionary War broke out in April 1775, few colonists desired complete independence from Great Britain. As a desire to be successful, a Congress-met was been in Pennsylvania State House (later Independence Hall) in Philadelphia. A five-man committee was held including John Adams, who declared 4th July as official date for Independence.
